It’s possible, but it might be a while.
I like it like this!
Maybe put the same logo as the main page in the corner?
Yeah. You seen the obscure reference to his channel?
Because… I just can’t… anymore…
[s]I’ve enabled VisualEditor. If it slows down the wiki too much, I’ll disable it. It’ll be fairly slow the first time a page is edited. If you still like the normal editor: click Edit Source.
I may have to disable it if it lags too much.[/s]
Nope, sorry! Too much strain on the server. Makes it almost unusable. Removed it for now.
Requested an account, waiting for password now.
Done!
I’m new to editing Wikis so forgive my lack of knowledge. What’s the syntax to add an external image? I’ve got lots of good ol’ historic screenshots to add to pages
I think you just paste in the link to the image, or you might need to use image tags.
Just a question: can we use either American English or British English when writing articles in the wiki or should we all just stick to one form?
I generally tend to write in British English, but sometimes I mix both…
Pick one or the other, then keep it consistent within that article.
I would love to help write articles and edit and correct information! Ill be able to help this weekend Im a good proof-reader

Also, Wikipedia uses the following guideline:
The official policy is to use British (AKA "Commonwealth") spelling when writing about British (or Commonwealth) topics, and American for topics relating to the United States. General topics can use any one of the variants, but should generally strive to be consistent within an article. See Wikipedia's Manual of Style for a more detailed explanation. Use of one English variation in article titles can cause a Search in another variant to fail. In this case, it is recommended that you create a new article using the alternative spelling which redirects to the main article.
The Manual of Style also has some tips on variants of English and their usage in a wiki environment.
Specifically, the redirect thingy is a tip we might want to go with in the future as the wiki increases in size.
If you guys want anyone to write stuff about the older PCB (classic, first SMP, old towns, ect.) just tell me! There’s a whole lot of pages I could make.
I’d say go ahead. This is probably the perfect place for a lot of PCB’s history to be recorded
I’m working on a script to handle old map downloads, hopefully I’ll be able to integrate this with MediaWiki eventually.
Great work on the past map stuff andy!
Le Edit:
Tah Dah! Tis live: http://wiki.projectcitybuild.com/maps/
Eventually I’ll have this done via a Special: page. If anyone has old maps, please upload them somewhere and PM them to me, with what version they are.
