It is time we decide what is spelled right? I’m only making this random post because over in the other topic discussing if people can have color names or not, we ended up getting into a small arguement about how to spell color/colour. Time to find out who can spell or not.

The language is called English. You guys changed it and you are WRONG. Colour has a ‘u’ in it.This also applies to ‘Humour’. And it’s ‘Centre’ not ‘Center’

The word itself is Colour. But in western countries it is color. It’s the evolution of the English language in America. The same can be applied to humor (humour),center (centre) etc. Its kinda like how in spain they use Vosotros, but most of the other Spanish speaking countries don’t use it. In the end both words are correct.
Technically were all Australian cause of Andy.
The main reason is probably that most of the original settlers of North America were illiterate so they spelt it how they thought it should be spelt rather than the correct (in the UK) spelling.
Even though we know we are correct. You can call it colour if you feel like it. XD
