Colour or color I don’t care there just words they mean exactly the same thing just spelt differently. There is no point in arguing about this!

Pretty much what hard said.
Both are correct, just color is a variation on colour. You may say colour is the original therefore correct, but that doesn’t make color incorrect. I will use colour though xD

Really I’ve never seen it spelled differently because we don’t have many people from England and Canada in Texas, maybe 4 or 5 people i know but in all fun for me.

I was raised in America and I was taught the American spelling of words.

Why should I, an American, use the British spelling of words when I am clearly not British? Because the Brits claim that their language is perfect English and the spelling is perfect? That seems pretty arrogant of a claim. Language evolves over time and new words are added to describe things. Some words are pronounced differently than their spelling and some have letters that are silent.

I don’t get upset when people spell it colour, centre, humour, etc. The only thing that does upset me is when there’s that one asshole who stands up among the crowd and yells “IT’S COLOUR, NOT COLOR!”. Sit the fuck down Billy. People like this need to learn to let the fuck go and stop being a pompous ass about words.

The same can be said for Americans who start the argument. But let’s be honest. Every debate I see, it is ALWAYS the British that start it. Because quite simply, Americans do not give a fuck. The amount of fucks we do not give is astronomical. Evidence being the spelling that Britains claim is incorrect. Keep saying it’s incorrect, it’s not going to change the use of it in daily everyday conversations.
