I just got home from New Hampshire, I had a great time, climbed to the peaks of two mountains (2600ft and 2900ft) and scaled a sheer granite face of a third. I saw a moose for the first time in person (despite doing a big project on them in third grade), and I also almost snuck across the US/Canadian Border. If anyone would like to see pictures or anything, let me know.

Do to school and other things I have not been on the server lately. Unfortunately I won’t be able to be on for the next week or too. Lately my school has just been piling us with HW. Lately have not had much free time to hop on the server or anything. Especially since my 16th birthday was two weekends ago I was so busy then. Also I will be studying for my learners permit which is comming up soon. Also I would like to apologize to Vex. I haven’t stopped working on the horse track I just haven’t been on. But I will get right back to work on it when I have time! I will still be active on the forms and may accasionaly hop on minechat. Hope to see ya all when I get back! <3

Forgot to post, my computer motherboard broke, but it was well timed as i needed a new PC. I am currently building another one. Parts should arrive in 5 working days, plus time to build, i should be back on in a week or so.

Right, I’m back…
I cannot remember whether or not I posted a ‘I’m not coming on the server for a little while’ thing in this chat, but… this is my coming back post.
I have been away for a short while because of a few reasons:
I. First reason is I got bored with Minecraft for a few months.
II. a) I came on the server for a short while in January/February but then left after a few days because I got kind of
cross that Asmo and somebody else (cannot remember, sorry) decided to build their modern town only a
few 100 blocks away from Winterly, my medieval town, and that it wasn’t even out of sight, it was just
across the bay.
b) All of this would probably have been fine if someone (also cannot remember, sorry) had not build a hideous
statue on the island that I was trying to put a lighthouse on, but Asmo kept rolling it back whenever I tried to
build there (reason; too far away from Winterly to count as Winterly territory (it was 206 blocks away, where
200 would have been fine (not even exaggerating))).
III. I might have come on after that in a few weeks, but I found another server to play on and I have been playing
on that since then.
Okay, so there you go. Why I wasn’t coming on since then. Here is the reason I am coming back on;
I. I decided that I wanted to go on a creative server (this one was RP) so I decided to come back here.
I will probably be coming on properly this afternoon.

The issue was that the modern town wasn’t less than 200 blocks away from your town, it was less than 200 blocks away from the border defined as 200 blocks away from your town. “Just across the bay” was around 350 blocks. If you had incredibly high render distance on, then maybe it was “just across”.
The lighthouse would have meant that the southern tip of the island that Hokkaido is on would have been closer to Winterly than the northern tip of the island where Hokkaido is. Which is ridiculous.

I wasn’t talking about the island Hokaido was on, I can see now that you were perfectly within your rights to put it there, even if it was a little close for my liking, I was talking I was talking about the island on which I was going to put my large lighthouse that is now occupied by the rather obnoxious statue of wossname with the blue flowers all over it. [Edit] Oh? Apparently it’s no longer blue flowers, it’s the head of Wooly
I can also see that whoever built that statue (can’t remember) was outside the 200 block minimum, although I think 6 blocks outside is taking the piss.
