What are the guidelines to building a station. cuz i was told i can build my own, but i want it as close to standards as possible (Cuz if i build it that way, then it feels like its mine and to my likes)
AND…
Are airports functional? It would be cool if you could board the plane like in real life, then step on a pressure plate and it takes you to another airport.
Platforms should be around 60/70 blocks long and at least 5 blocks wide. Proper station signage should be used throughout the station, with no color (someone who can come on the server from PCBT can help you with that) Trackbed should be made out of gravel (preferred) or stone (if you’re building where gravel would sink). The tracks should be five wide: first block is space for the train, second block is rail, third is space between the rails, fourth is rail, and fifth is space for the train. Have one of our members show you the map so you can find what line your city is on, as that would depend which color your platform signs are made out of.
Other than that:
Build it nicely, no boxes or unrealistic stations (check Port Royal, New Bayside, Ontario, or Clarita for good examples)
So, if the train station is IN my city, and is going to another part of my city and does not go to another city, does PCBT still have to make it? Or can I make it myself since if its in my city the standards are up to me?
I should start a station too. The whole PCBT thing is confusing, but it prevents airports and rails from popping up all over the map cough last map cough
Alright, so I chanced upon this post while surfing through the forums. My city was invited to be part of the PCBT rail by asmodean_ and The station has been complete for about a week or two now. Are there any other PCBT Staff that could help moderate the station in my city? AngelSentinel has not been responding to my mail ;-; was curious if anyone else could help me out. Excited to be connected! Would be grateful
The warp to my city is /warp thecapital.
*the station is right behind the stadium at when you exit the spawn hall, on your left. It is the oblong shaped ice pudding with some rails jutting out.
The twin rails are 5 wide, --_, and a 60 block long length has been calculated. The quartz frame is to house the train, for easier boarding and alighting yay
The Capital is right after Ceres and before Sparkhill if I am not wrong
Yes, I haven’t had much time due to my drowning in APUSH as @Amphitryon may testify to. I still check the forums pretty much every day though, so if you really need to reach me, this is a good place to do so.
I did check both cities the last time I was on. @Asmodean_, I would appreciate if you could indicate which set(s) of tracks going out of Ceres is meant to go to the Capital, and @Verna_, I would appreciate if you indicate which set(s) of tracks going out of the Capital are meant to go to Ceres.
Thanks for you understanding. I’ll try to pop in at least once every week.
