[size=1em]It’s back…FTB that is. We welcome you back to our modded minecraft server our new personal pack Hellscape. This new kitchen sink pack is made personally for our community, you won’t find it elsewhere than the links provided here . This pack follows our honored tradition of hosting kitchen sink packs to properly feed one’s megalomania. While it has abstained from certain regular standby’s such as Tinker’s Construct and MineFactory Reloaded, there are still plenty of opportunities to strip the earth bare of resources and craft the finest gear.
Gear which you will very much need, as one of the most immediately noticeable features of this pack are the inclusion of a multitude of mod mobs, most prominent being Lycanite’s Mobs. This, of course, not taking into account other horrors being added by the likes of Thaumcraft and Abyssalcraft. Don’t fret though, not everything and its undead grandmother is out to kill you. Lycanite’s does add a handful of passive and neutral mobs that can be farmed as easily as cows, and even some of the ferocious ones can be tamed and even ridden. Through the miracle of the Fossils and Archaeology mod you can extracted DNA from fossil and repopulate the world with once extinct dinosaurs and other animals. This not considering all the other creatures, hostile or not, found throughout various dimensions.
Which there are a number of, 17 different dimensions to be exact. While a handful of these are fairly plain, being mining worlds or pocket dimensions, there are more still with their own unique biomes and creatures. For better or worse, Twilight Forest has been abstained from, as many have experienced its incomplete features. Its boots have been filled quite nicely by the likes of Erebus however, although I question the sanity of someone wanting to visit a dimension filled with spiders and carnivorous insects. Abyssalcraft adds a couple of its own dimensions too, although I don’t know how happy its denizens will be about visitors.
So just in case you should probably get suited up in some nice armor, I hear most people prefer the technical kind. We do have some returning favorites, from Ender IO Dark Armor, to Redstone Arsenal. Along with Mekanism, you can charge up your armor and tools and be ready for a lengthy adventure. If it was a mining trip be sure to dump the ore off to be processed in whatever machines you’ve decided to use. Of course gathering the amount of resources needed may take a while, so don’t feel bad for having to settle for Metallurgy 4, or even vanilla, metal armor at first.
