did you have armor on?
did you have a wall that went all the way down until you had an area to kill them?
if not for the wall, skeletons are known for trick shooting 
and armor would help

Oh and btw I had full hunger, so even if I was shot by a skeleton, I should have my regained my health.

Something about this is odd. If you are a op in the server, you get a death chest no matter how you die. If it’s not in the logs, it must have been a mob, right? Not sure how, but could it have been some kind of glitch? I have seen spiders spawn in such quantity that they skip through walls.
I’m so unused to death chests that I forget about them.
Kyle I would like to take this time to point out something about death chests: MODS can open them and take stuff out, but not destroy them. Now I know that we all trust our staff members. But is there any way to make these locked to everyone but the person who died?

One thing to add, death chests do disappear after a certain amount of time, but I’m not sure how long that is.

Okay Fili look, You killed me, You can’t deny it. Its written straight in the logs. I understand we like to have fun sometimes and you most likely did not know I was afk, Or maybe one of your family members got on your account. All I want is my items back. So, Do you or do you not have my stuff?
I know fili and others were all killing randomly, but I really doubt fili took items out of your death chest. If anything, it could have timed out and taken your items to the grave. I was afk when I was killed in that area too. Found out I had been punched into the water and drowned.
I think it is safe to assume the items themselves are gone. I can replace what you lost. PM me with your losses and enchants etc and give me some location I can leave them for you.
I didn’t kill you though and there was noone else at my house so idk how, I changed my password just in case today. I don’t have your stuff I didn’t do it but when I logged back on I was not where I was before I was in a tunnel or something.
ok i would assume it safe to say there was a minor hack here. Lets get Keaton his items back, Fili has taken the neccessary precautions to prevent a future mistake.
