Welcome to Michigan!

So, I don’t know why… but lately I have been very “patriotic” of my state. Which if you haven’t figured that out yet, is Michigan!
Let me tell you something’s about my home!
1.) We have lakes, there is 5 and the acronym for them is “homes” Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, and Superior.
2.) We say “welcome to Michigan”, and “It’s a Michigan thing” a lot! Usually it’s a sarcastic remark on the stereotypes here.
3.) We are also the reason we have cars today. (even if its Ford)…
Honestly I could go on and on… but Michigan is definitely known for the lakes!
The lakes are gorgeous! Come winter time… they are… dangerously gorgeous. If that makes sense.
Here is a picture!
(btw, this post was completely out of boredom)

I’ve seen some photos of the lakes from a coworker of mine. He lived in Wisconsin for 10 years and has some really nice photos. Looks like quite a picturesque place to live, but it’s a bit cold for my liking ;D

About one year ago, I’ve seen commercials about Michigan, and they mostly showed the lakes. I never knew that much about the Great Lakes, the year before, but I now know that they contain 21% of the world’s surface fresh water by volume. Aside for the downturns Michigan has experienced for decades, it is still an impressive state.

Oh! It´s very good to know some things about USA! I live in Brazil so I don´t know about your culture! I love PCB because of this, we can learn about some other people and places!
