Attention PCBians! We are apparently dealing with technical Difficulties with our server at this moment. Please refrain from making posts about this as we will be keeping you updated. Us staff are trying to fix this problem so you can all play on the server again! We will be back soon.
Well, I am not positive what the problem is, but I have a few ideas.
I noticed that our LWC plugin was reporting an error. Don’t think it’s the cause, but maybe?
The Ubuntu openjdk packages may be missing the keystore of trusted certificates, and the package ca-certificates-java don’t help.
Copying the $JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/security/cacerts file from (Windows) and dropping it at /etc/ssl/certificates/java/cacerts may fix it?
The date/time on the server may be wrong for authentication.
Everyone who tries to log in has “[id=,name=” in their log. I don’t think ID is supposed to be empty. It’s an authentication error as far as I know.
One option:
For private servers owners can (temporary) set online-mode to false in the server properties file. That will then skip the check, but it will also open up for trouble: Hacked clients and users can login under other users names.
No, I can’t access the server’s files. Sip is out till the 14th. I have not heard from _SpecialK
I’m gonna use this as a chance to say that I fucking love you Spec and all the shit you do for us with the server it is probably a crazy arse job sometimes so thank heaps I love the server and you do so much to keep it running
