Tree Plugin

Personally, my vote stays a no. It’s an aesthetic plugin, not a necessary one. The main argument has been to “solve the ugly floating trees”, but that’s something you can easily repair, yourself.

I’m all for adding more plugins to our server, but if it’s something as insignificant as cutting trees down quicker, or making trees look nicer, it’s kinda silly to worry so much about it.

even with only the ‘bringing down logs’ feature, what happens when the involved tree is still too tall, as the logs stop at the ‘leaf line’. It also still wouldn’t solve the problem of large oak trees either, which make up the majority of floating trees, therefore the other feature would have to be used, but this raises all the previous concerns. I don’t think there’s a win-win situation here.

I don’t understand what you mean dord. From what I understood, the plugin can move down all tree types.

the big poak trees ave logs inside them which cannot be brought doiw, these are what amke the tree float, so thereofe it wouldn’t wouk. I am also skeptical as to how it would wokr on large jungle trees, as the leaf line on them is very tall, so it may be left with floating leaves etc.

The plugin allows the leaves to move down with the tree. Again, we can test the plugin to see how it works to answer questions.

that’s not what was in the video

I also have a concern that, if half of the community votes no, and we DO implement it, then half of the community will be ignored in that aspect. Unless the voting seems weighed towards one side, and by a much greater margin than we have now, I say it should be denied.

Dord… read the plugin’s details.

Due to the potential flaws with this plugin, I would suggest it only be used in Creative perhaps? It’s the most annoying thing when I have to clear out a Roofed Forest, and I suppose this would be of some help (less pillaring/flying, and if there’s a way to change the duration it takes to destroy it, perhaps lower that too).

This was denied. Locking. Seems it was already moved to the denied section.
