You broke a block on the top of splatt’s villager enclosure. About 1 minute later you replaced it. His villager is now gone. No other blocks were broken.

How did a villager escape if I broke and replaced one block? Villagers cannot jump and cannot crawl. I’m
afraid I do not understand, sorry.
