Here we go…
We begin with 6-year-old Ferf, who was quite the charmer. Now, 6-year-old Ferf was a big fan of the PBS Kids channel. Eventually, the advertisements for the wonderful website, pbskids.org, tempted him, and he just had to go and play some of those Arthur and Cyberchase games. Little Ferf realized that if he wanted his stats and progress to save, he would need to make an account (I already had an email at the time cause why not). Several seconds of buttonmashing later, the first iteration of ferfer313 was created. I continued to use this name for other things, but it wasn’t until a ways in the future where it began to really matter.
Now, two years later, 8-year-old Ferf went to his neighbor’s house, where he discovered an early version of a wonderful game called Minecraft. Ferf and his neighbor killed a few spiders and made a sky walk out of glass, and overall, had a very enjoyable afternoon. A few months later, over at a friends house, I first explored the multiplayer elements of the game, and spent a bit of time on a server called Ultra, which was a major inspiration for my early building style. After all this exposure to the game, the second iteration of ferfer313 was created.
I started by playing mostly on Classic servers, and I was at another friend’s house when I discovered PCB, looking for some server where I could build in a city. PCB had me hooked, due to the niceness of the members and the impressive buildings. I can thank Petroliam, fatso12321, and JamesMX for helping me out that first day. I continued to play on the classic server for a while, and I bought the full version on January 1, 2012. I transitioned over to the main server July 2012. I played on both servers for a while, using TheDukeOfUkes (an ode to my love for the ukulele) as a Classic alt. Classic began to die down, so I committed myself to the main server.
Lots of offs and ons occured with the main server, and I played on some other servers time to time. I played other games and used other websites that required accounts, and used a variety of different names based on the situation, one of my favorites being a short-lived Armor Games account called ForThePeople.
I was on break from PCB on February 4th, 2015, the day that name changes were announced. It wasn’t until the 16th (2 days after my birthday) that I was able to change my username, and the spaz you all know and love, MrFerf was born. The username was meant to represent maturing as a person. I chose a more professional name, actually using proper capitalization, as well as a shortened version of ferfer (most people called me Fer or Ferf anyways). I had the name in mind since name changes were announced in January of the same year, and used it for a couple of other things prior, and continue to use it today for other websites.
I came back to PCB a bit after that, and people sort of got used to it, before I left again, and rejoined at the end of September. I’ve been here to stay since then, and I don’t plan on leaving or changing my username any time soon.
So there’s my username history tied in with a VERY brief history of myself.
Cheers.

p.s.
In case you were curious, neither ferfer313 nor MrFerf was intended to resemble any names of myself, pets, favorite characters, or anything like that, though it does share minimal coincidental resemblance to my middle name, Felder.
