This afternoon online I was acting like the “Grinch” since me and a few friends (Laurenp277, Koalamama, MaddyGabbyy, Jmvvana and Whbilbo) were all dressing up in a Christmas theme. Whenever I was acting like the grinch I had pulled a prank on Maddy in the market. I brought her to a lava trap that was made along with the market, to prank her. When she got inside I hit the button and she fell into the lava. After she burnt to death, she ragged quit and became infuriated at me. As soon as she left koala was like, “Why did chummy leave?” I told her that she ragged quit, so koala went to talk to her and then before I knew it, I was temp banned for “Unwanted PVP”. After that I then checked again and then I was permanently banned for “unwanted PVP and destroying items.”
Why didn’t you even hear the other side of the story, you could’ve asked me why I did that, before banning me. If you would’ve asked me I would’ve been honest and told you. It would have been sorted out way more efficiently.
Im very sorry for this incident I promise it will not ever happen again. I will refrain from any of this unprofessional and childish acts for as long as possible.
To Maddy, I now realized how much I might have messed up our friendship now, please give me a second chance so we can be like normal again, I promise not to do anything EVER like that again.

Why didn't you even hear the other side of the story, you could've asked me why I did that, before banning me. If you would've asked me I would've been honest and told you. It would have been sorted out way more efficiently.
that is true when a person is banned, ( except griefers and spammers ) its always right to hear the Defense’s side of the story.
I believe while it was a poor trick, it does not count as PvP, as he did not FORCE the player into the trap. While yes, it was shitty of him, this is NOT PvP, and the damages done could have been avoided by the victim.
I do not condone this, but there is no PvP here, just trickery. If Jacob replaces her items, to the best of his ability, I believe that would have been punishment enough here.
I don’t want to repeat details listed above, so I’ll skip to ahead… Long story short, we we’re having fun, joking around. Some jokes go to far, however.
The “joke” in question is included with the few that go too far.
I was worried, so soon after I began texting Maddy, she explained things to me. It was a joke gone to far, and no harm was meant on either side.
I don’t exactly want to state an opinion, as I don’t want to ruin friendships with either person, however I think Jacob should repay Maddy somehow.
Also, I don’t think these lava traps should be in the market, because after buying something, you walk into death. huge drawback.
I do understand that this was a prank. It was extremely unnnecessary and exceptionally rude. However, I felt that the only way to really get through to you in this case was a ban. Actions do have consequences, and with your behavior recently I decided that a ban was the best way to remind you of that. I don’t think that you would do something like this again. I will unban you, but I want to hear what some other staff members have to say before I do.
Quite honestly, I figured this was gonna happen at some point. And look; it has. I’ve seen Jacob engage in some unwanted PvP before with Lauren, but if course it was never a major problem. I thought Jacob would stop at some point, but then this happened, and I was both shocked and proven correct. I understand that originally, this was just some friends fooling around, but then a Jacob got carried away, and Maddy got angry.
I know Jacob well enough to say that now that he knows what happens when you mess around like he has, serious stuff will happen. I don’t think Jacob would ever purposefully do something like this, and I don’t think he will again.
But as always, if you mess up again, it will be an entirely different story, Jacob.
This is completely true. We do this to have fun, seems a bit odd if you have not been on teamspeak with us at the same time as we kill each other. If you were then you would completely understand
100% this. Jacob, you are generally a great member of the community and a great friend to lots of people, you just need to know when to stop. Please just think before you do in future.
Am I the only one that thinks the lava traps in Market serve a comical purpose? You can actually tell that one of them is a trap because pushing the button where it’s completely lit exposes it, and the other is like super obvious “Free diamonds, lots of free money this way”. Just sayin that should’ve screamed Trap!
Though, I think it was all fun and play like it seems that it was, maybe a ban was a bit much for a wakeup call, but maybe that’s just me. Had I been online, I would’ve replaced stuff for her and we would have called it a day. I will commend you for where your head is at Koala I know we’re all a bit different in terms of sorting out conflict, but in all realness Jacob didn’t “PvP” necessarily and he is an overall a good player in this community. I’m glad he’s getting unbanned.
Understandably, it wasn’t “unwanted pvp” considering he didn’t come hitting me with a sword. I completely get that.
But all before I fell into this trap, we were all on teamspeak, right? And Jacob says, “Hey Maddy, tp to me. Come look at my new shop.” So I tped and he leads me in and he says, “Ready?” And before I can even react, he hits the button and I’ve fallen into the lava trap and died. I went to the title screen and got off the teamspeak channel. There was no way that this was avoidable. I had no idea that my friend was going to put me into a trap and kill me whilst burning all of my items. It was awfully rude and uncalled for. I still have yet to get an apology from him.
Yes, I should have realized at the time that it was all a bit sketchy and that he was pulling a prank. But I didn’t anything of it because I seriously assumed he was showing me his new shop or something. Yeah, sure, it was all fun and games but I seriously drew the line with him. Maybe if my inventory was full of things I had been getting for Christmas gifts for the survival Christmas tree, then maybe I wouldn’t have been so pissed. But that unfortunately isn’t the case. I am sorry that this has become such an issue, I was just really upset that I lost all my things and that he took it just a step too far.
This is the second time today that you have done something, and taken it too far, like raiding Kaliopolis. You know better for these things, and you are a trusted player.
When ever I did that It wasnt just me, I was with Ruby, AG and Jmvvana in teamspeak. Whenever I tped there I realised how it was being blown up… Me and Jm then asked if we could raid. Ag and Ruby didnt say anything about it. They didnt really care I guess. So me and Jm were raiding the place since litreatly no one uses it and its owner @Anthjmon10 is banned we said “why the heck not”. After we started you showed up and made us put the stuff back. I wont do it again.

I’m sorry, I meant apologized privately, not over forums. I know for a fact you have my phone number and could’ve texted me about it.
Both AG and Ouhai didn’t have much of a response, they were both picking through the rubble too, and we weren’t positive about beacons, so when we did take them, Madant had us put them back, which of course, we did, no issue. I don’t think any right-minded player [and especially a trusted player like Jacob or myself] would raid without staff permission.
I wouldn’t raid without proper permissions, and hope that this wont affect myself or others.
You are both incorrect there. I was the only staff there at the time, and you did not ask. That is a flat out lie. You were told by me to stop…You showed up to see what was going on, and then you started to take things. You did not put thing back, as I had to go into your inventory and remove them well after I asked you to stop and replace them.
