They came specifically looking for me and when I spoke to them, all they wanted was to ensure I lived in this house. Photo id was all they wanted.
This kind of freaked me out. Wait, not kinda, seriously!
I can assure you they were legit (badges etc) and they were those cops not in uniform, they were in suits. One seriously gave me the impression of the MIB.
They said that I would not hear from them again, but what was that about? No contact info either.
Some criminal could have used your adress to cover up something. The cops probably knew he didn’t live there but just to be sure they asked for an ID.

Call to verify? How? With who? One department of the LAPD has no idea what another does. There is little chance I could even find what precinct they belong to. I was so flustered, I kinda failed to get any info from them. I did make a comment about the guy looking like MIB… Tried to make some humor. Not sure if it worked. They did say I was not in trouble, but you never know.
As unlikely as it is, the first thing I thought of was my non genuine programs I use. Like word and XP. Perhaps my school knew I cracked the password on a file they gave me. Arg! All those technically illegal activities!
Dear god… that would scare the hell out of me! so much… acquired stuff on my pc im not meant to have XD i would be screwed if anyone even glances at my desktop… im glad you got out of that alive! XD
Lol same, hardly any of the progs i own are genuine, apart from vista when i got the laptop and microsoft office, apart from that im pritty mutch screwed,
