The Brussels Attacks. 2016/03/22

Hello…
:frowning:

So Most Of You May Have Heard. Today, Tuesday March 22nd, At least 31 are confirmed dead and more than 220 injured after explosions at Zaventem airport and at Maelbeek metro station near EU buildings in Belgian capital of Brussels, like the Paris attacks, the Islamic State Of Iraq And Syria, ( ISIS ) had claimed responsibility for the attacks. though this may seem shocking to most, there is a way how we can overcome the fear and terror, and unite to try and stop this from being a continuing event. I Hope we see the end of these acts of violence soon, and for the time being, may our prayers be with those and the families who have been somehow effected from this terrible tragedy.

Well said…

All our thoughts and prayers are with those who have lost someone today or who had a family member or friend injured in the Brussels attack.

It’s insane, really. World’s becoming steadily worse and worse with this sort of deal, as it has become more and more common in the last 15 years. It’s a shame that some people have to resort to this for their sick enjoyment.

Not a religious person, but I will say that keeping these people in your thoughts would be a kind gesture, if nothing more. Paris wasn’t that long ago, this is only another hit. DO remember, though, that while ISIS may or may not claim responsibility for these attacks lately, and they are known to mainly practice Islam, that you blame the people, not the religion. I hear enough lately of people blaming the majority for what the minority does here, and it makes those who are grouped into the same category in even more fear than we are, as the targets.

Keep together. Keep unity. That’s all we can do, in the very least.

It’s horrible that this happens to poor people who are just trying to live their lives. It’s really unfortunate that people feel the need to commit such acts and hurt innocent people. Kind thoughts to all that were impacted on this day.

The most shocking fact about these attacks, is not the attack itself, but that these people who plants the bombs think that this is ok to do! People who do this need therapy, but where they grew up, or where they lived, it wasn’t possible.

The Belgian government did everything they could to prevent this. Sadly, they couldn’t do enough.

Well one not all the people of the same religion, race, or culture are terrorists. Many are people trying to survive in a world dominated by war. Alot of them want to live in peace but cant.

Two, these terrorists, now hold on and read on before you yell at me. Well its not entirely their fault. It’s how they have been raised to believe. For thousands of years people from far lands have invaded or occupied their lands. From the crusades to modern rivalries and arguments. Their religion is a really peaceful one. But because people have killed thousands of Innocent people in their home countries, that its their job to honor their god and their people to fight back, and fight back the only way that they can. Through terror and small attacks.

Now you might not agree with me, but this of it this way. Imagine your a small kid, you love your dad. Then people you don’t know other than that they come from far away. They kill your dad. You don’t know why, but you do know that they killed him. Now your older and others along with you are joining a group of resistance fighters to fight back against the people you know who killed your father. These people tell you that god himself needs all his people to fight these killers and end their injustice. They tell you that you must do to them what they’ve don’t to you. Invade and fight. Your not a large group so you plan on attacking one place. You fight and die for your dad, your family, your god, and all your people back at home.

Now this is what i’ve been taught. That not all people are bad. To you they are bad people. But to them they could be saviors, justice, or any other thing. yes some people are bad. But you cant say everyone is bad. Some people that are the same race, culture, or religion are not the same when it comes to fighting or when it comes to killing. Just like Isis there are and have been multiple groups like them in other cultures and religions and races.

Even after i said all this, i’m not saying what these people are doing are right. I hate them for doing it. I don’t like the fact that they’re doing it. But don’t blame everyone for a group. And don’t completely blame the group because of how they’ve grown up. I’ve met some of the nicest Islamic people, and i’ve heard of some of the worst. I’ve met some of the nicest christian people for example. But i’ve met some of the rudest, and some of the worse Christians. So please consider what i’ve said. You don’t have to agree with me on anything. But don’t entirely yell at these people.

Edit: forgot to say, I do fell sorry for Brussels, I hope they can recover after this.
