What do The Assassins do?
Pretty much everything to do with combat.
If you want defending from mobs whilst you are mining or exploring, or want someone assassinating* we will do it.
*For an assassination, the person who has the ‘hit’ put on them must be aware, and agree to it (play along basically) We will not kill anyone randomly to avoid causing conflict within the server.
What are the Assassin ranks?
- Recruit - Members of the guild who are yet to undergo any training.
- Initiate - Have basic assassin training, require more combat practice.
- Apprentice - Have basic combat training.
N/A. Soldier - Fought in the Pumpkin Assassin war. Upon taking Test 1, will be able to bypass Test 2 and become warrior. - Warrior - Skilled at combat.
- Shadower - Skilled at combat, and able to assassinate targets easily.
- Assassin - Skilled at combat, and able to assassinate targets easily, without causing too much disturbance, or being killed.
N/A.** Master - Leader of the guild. A skilled fighter and Assassin.
**Master cannot be earned through tests as the others can.
How can I join The Assassins?
If you wish to join, there are a series of tests you must go through, each test will get you a new rank.
Test 1: Agility
In the Assassin town (Drystone), you will be given two points, and must parcour from one to another, touching the floor the least amount of times as possible.
Rank earned: Initiate
Test 2: Battle
A one to one battle against another initiate, the winner will go onto the next test.
Rank earned: Apprentice
Test 3: Defence
You will be taken to an underground dome, filled with trees and mobs. You must collect: 10 rotten flesh, 10 string, 10 bones, 5 arrows, 5 gunpowder, and 5 spider eyes.
Rank earned: Warrior
Test 4: Assassination
You must carry out an assassination on a named target (in most cases, another member of the guild).
Rank earned: Shadower
Test 5: Stealth
This test is similar to test 4, but you will have another guild member searching for you, and the target will be more wary of you and able to attack you on sight.
Rank earned: Assassin
Why should I join The Assassins?
You get use of the facilities within the assassin base, which include a sparring arena, high level enchanting table, mob arena, and quick and easy access to other areas of the town.
