When I try to use a texture pack on servers I get a lot of lag.
Default: normal
Simplecraft: little lag
Boarder craft:a lot of lag
Dokku craft: a lot of lag
Please help 
Also my dokku craft doesn’t show the hunger bar(it is updated for 1.0). Is this a problem for anybody else???
Normally the reason for this is that the default texture pack will be overlay-ed by the custom texture packs, this just adds a bit of added strain on your system. Also make sure for minimum lag you are using a 16 x 16 texture pack and not higher (32 x32 etc)
One way that MIGHT help out is (if you are .jar savey) to switch out the default texture pack from the minecraft.jar for one of you custom ones, effectively making the custom texture into the default one.
Also if your PC isn’t really fast then try some other thing to speed it up, download new drivers, edit your graphical options in minecraft (fast graphics, normal or smaller render distance, smooth lighting off, particles off and advanced gl on.

Yeah, if u use the Bordercraft HD texture it lags like hell… using the Optifine mod really gives a graphic FPS boost though
