Our PCB TeamSpeak3 server is now up and running. Chat permissions still need a bit of tweaking, but otherwise it is good to go.

Whats the server name specifically for T/S?

Well whats the address and (if there is one) whats the password?

the server IP for TeamSpeak is the survival server IP. And there is no password.

I’ve never heard of/used teamspeak. I’ll check it out tomorrow.

Well, I tried it, but there was no one on. I agree with Lemon’s idea - have a bar on the home page that tells us if there’s people on it.

Ideally we would have every member on it if on the server, so we wouldn’t need the normal text chat.

TeamSpeak is like skype, All you have to do is put in the PCB ip of the TeamSpeak sever and you can talk to whom eles is on it. Without adding them (like what you would have to do with skype)

And you can have a guy who sounds like duke nukem announcing when someone enters the channel and such.

Its like Skype in that its voice chat and that’s about it. To talk you have to press a button, because you wont talk all the time. Also there are channels within the server for different things, such as OPChat, or those for each of the servers. It will be helpful if we get everyone on it but for the time being it doesn’t server much use.

The permissions need a bit more fiddling with, I can’t use the op room at the moment.

I will update everyone’s ranks when I see you on the teamspeak server. I’m just a bit busy at the moment studying for uni exams. Epic cramming because I may not have turned up to lectures…

It is all lower-case. It seems to be very hackable. Did one of you create a channel called Diablo? We seem to be getting lots of random people coming in looking for a empty teamspeak server.

Yea I noticed that too… the pass is a great idea and maybe have announcements ingame every half hour or so saying:
