Eurotruck 2 is the one you want to get.
Not necessarily with the sales. Looking at the packs, the deluxe bundle for Euro Truck Sim 2 would be the one to get. It contains the base game, a shit ton of aesthetic DLCs and both of the major expansion DLCs. It is also bundled with 4 extra games: Euro Truck Sim 1, Bus Driver, Scania Truck Diving Sim, and Trucks & Trailers.
In comparison, the most expensive DLC just adds one of the major expansion DLCs, some aesthetic stuff and some extra cargo.
The deluxe is normally more expensive than the other one, but they have different discounts, so deluxe is cheaper.
If you are thinking of getting this game, either wait to see if it goes on a daily deal or a flash sale, or buy it now and keep your play time under 2 hours. That way if it does go on a better sale, you can get a refund then buy it again for the reduced price.

I’d highly recommend either of them. They’re essentially the same game, but Beyond Earth has aliens in it
