So i need some ereader help xD

So im trying to get my manga scans to read on an ereader app that i have at the moment on my Galaxy SIII…

if anyone knows a way to get it to work would be amazing.

im trying to reread Neon Genesis Evangelion, Evangelion: Angelic Days, and the Shinji Ikari Raising Project on my phone XD

Might be helpful to post what brand of E-reader and what type

but you guise are all geniuses. i thought surely someone would know how

What ereader and what’s the problem at the moment?

its not a physical, erreader, its an app on my Galaxy S3.

its the ereader Prestigo app, and im trying to make my .rar file of .jpeg Manga scans into a readable format for the ereader…

do i need to make it a .zip file? thats what i need to know atm _andy

Wouldn’t it just be easier to find the files in the correct format in the first place? It should be in the epub format, or I would assume so. I think you may be able to use PDF apps to create epub files.

Can you even import files into the app? I feel like the kindle app has an option to do imports, but I don’t like reading on my phone personally.

This app is rated a little bit better, don’t know what it offers however: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aldiko.android&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5hbGRpa28uYW5kcm9pZCJd

Shadow, it sounds like you just need to extract the .Rar file( I use WinRAR) on your computer, then drag that folder with all of your jpeg images into your phone. At least thats what I’m thinking from the way you worded it.

yeah i tried that initially, thats exactly what i thought as well, but i won’t read the .jpeg files.

Sip, ill try that one, see how it works

Rename the .rar to. jpeg?

renaming the file physically dosn’t change what type of file it is. you have to do a conversion. otherwise the file will be corrupted and unusable… at least that is how i was taught.

It would not corrupt it, it would just have no idea how to read it. If it can’t read the jpegs themselves… then no type of compressing should help.

I use CDisplay on my PC for manga reading. I have no idea how they would work on portable devices. Can’t really help ya there. I am, however, interested in the files you are trying to read. I wanna read em too!
