I haven’t played on this server in a really long time, but the only reason I can recall being banned was for removing a village near the mall I was building. The land that surrounded us was to be used, and someone went ahead and remodeled a village close to us.

I banned you for griefing a remodeled village. I forget the player. but they had kept the village design, but changed the bulding material to quartz and stone brick.
You didn’t remove the village, but you punched holes in it, which is a tell-tale sign of a grief. If you had wanted the village to be removed, at least in my opinion, it would have been gone instead of damaged.
If this was your land, I would like to ask if you contacted the owner before proceeding to do this. I did see the mall nearby, and wondered if that was the case, but seeing as the damage to the village was not orderly, and looked like a bunch of holes in some buildings, I considered it griefing.
Since it was so long ago, I’m fine with unbanning if you give an explanation to what I said. You don’t seem super sketchy to me, so it’s just down to explanation.
Your reasoning for believing that it was grieving is completely understandable. However, I was in the process of removing it and have since forgotten due to working on a separate server. If I recall correctly, a friend of mine (either sophiehatter or powderjr87) was communicating with the other player via signs close to the village. The other player had not replied and had not been on so I proceeded to remove the village. I apologize because this was a bit immature on my half for not consulting a staff member to approve the removal, and I assure you that if anything like this occurs in the future I will contact one of you.
PS: About the village removal, you don’t necessarily have to contact a staff member, the town owner’s the one to contact. If they’re inactive, then staff intervention might be a good call.
