I’m the same if I’m honest, but I’ve seen Death Note which was foookin’ good. Most of it doesn’t appeal to me if it’s all over the top with flying round exploding things and laser beams.
Yes. Totally with liam on this. I liked Death Note because it was somewhat more believable than a lot of the other stuff you get.

To Liam and Ruby, clearly you two have found at least one Anime you liked. The thing is, there are all kinds of Genres in anime so there are lots of realistic shows. I just tend to like the Sci-fi type ones. You can do in anime what cannot be done in live action.

I know that’s a wall of text, but there are tons of anime that have no quirks and are just like “real TV shows”. I have not seen Baccano, Beck, or Initial D but they may suit your interests.

I liked BECK alot =) it had something special. I’m a great fan of the Gundam Series and Transformers.
