As of the 1.3 Beta update, there have been ongoing issues with the server and plugin compatibility. Unfortunately in addition, the creator of iConomy (our money system) and Permissions (rank and command usage authorisation system) has discontinued his plugins.
Alternatives do exist, I simply need time to fix the issues. Expect server downtime while I upgrade, reconfigure and install components for the remainder of today.
I have successfully installed an alternative rank authorisation system. Everyone’s rank (and all permissions associated with each rank) have been removed.
I am still configuring what each rank has permission to do, so if you have an opinion on the matter now is the time to let me know. Your rank will be assigned to you maunally when you next login to the server.
When I log in, will I be adv builder like I was on the main classic PCB server, or an op like I am on the fallback/new PCB server?

There is no builder/adv builder rank on the survival server - freebuild is not the purpose. If you weren’t an OP on the original server, you will receive the highest player rank of Trusted (see the server command sticky thread for a list of usable commands) since I am unaware of the current standing player ranks on the Fallback server.

Awesome! It really gives more meaning to hunting. I sometimes enjoy just running over the surface at night just for the fun of standing your ground against the horde.

If I could log in, I would. Alas, minecraft is down right now and I am unsure if the command to rank people is the same as before. I think I will have to trust Andy to do so.
Kind of odd, I am getting an immediate response from the official website saying that it could no connect. Its as if they are up, but actively refusing any connection. Normally, if a site was down, my browser tries for a while first.
Maybe notch is updating the website so he has to take the whole lot down…
