Is it allowed to build a sandstone generator? I’m just asking, because I was going to build one. And if you don’t know it is a generator which generates sand from air. Thanks for the answer already!

How does that exactly work? I didn’t think sandstone was a produceable block in the same way cobblestone/obsidian is?
If it’s utilising a bug that will probably be patched later, no. If the game intended for this to be possible (ie. it’s not a bug), yes.
Well I found it not working in 1.4.7 or in multiplayer.
