After much testing it has been decided that repeaters are now removed from the item banlist and are free for use again. However, the same conditions apply that your redstone circuits must not be left indefinitely in an infinite loop as over time this can cause lag for every player on the server.
Infinite loops are acceptable provided that they are not left on indefinitely and/or are able to be toggled on and off. Please be wary as these do have the potential to cause inconvenience for everyone.

Well, repeaters just condense what was previously done by 2 blocks and 2 torches into a one block area so mostly all this will do is condense the size of our redstone machines.

The repeater itself was banned but with 2 blocks and 2 redstone torches you could just make your own repeater sooooooo we always could have done that. Just sayin
