This kind of thing can be difficult to fix because the usual problem is the minecraft.jar file. You have to have the exact one for it to work properly.
The WOM client does not give you that file because it is illegal to do so. They should have given you a link to get the file from the minecraft site. Once you have it, you need to put it into the “lib” folder.
