Proud

So, I’m extremely proud of my father today. He has successfully started an online argument (and kinda gone viral)

I’ve always wanted to be that guy that starts the terribly funny arguments online, and he’s done it!

Basically, here’s what happened. He’s the editor-in-chief of Houstonia Magazine, a magazine in Houston (duh!) He put an ad containing a biracial family in the magazine. He received an email from a doctor in a suburb of Houston saying he was disgusted by the “racial mixing.” Being angry that this racism still exists, he responded with posting his reply on the website for all of Houston to read. This is what sparked “debate” (butthurt rednecks)

Please view here, it’s quite funny

Nice one tell your dad. Racism still exists all over the world more is the pity – but well done to your dad for standing out and saying what he thinks.

The local CBS channel (http://www.khou.com/) is interviewing him!

Here’s a bad picture of the camera for @AngelSentinel

And one of him getting mic-ed up

Woo! It airs on the nightly show!

I still cannot believe how people still take this as racist. To me, I didn’t know what was wrong about the magazine cover. To me it was just a family, until I noticed the problem once I read the comment from the doctor.
