Project Transfer Snowpine.

Hello everybody. I’m not sure if any of you remember it, but there was a town called Snowpine, on the last map. It was a town everyone loved, and I loved it very much as well. _specialk has agreed to transferr the town to the new map IF we can divide it in sections. _specialk says that we just need to have markers at the same height, and in squares, to divide the town. Thank you for reading, everyone.

  1. Um… the old map is currently off bounds to trusted. Would Mods be able to go there?

i had a house and a shop there. i also helped make a ton of that place. ALOT of trees were cut by me, and a LOT of road was made. i would LOVE to see it transferred. or at least copied and made into a spawnpoint at one time or another

I started saving snowpine into sections ages ago. I did divide it, but each area I did was pretty massive. Too much of the land around Snowpine was beautiful and I wanted it too.

Just checking, but this is the place with the massive mountain and castle on it right?

Though now most of the special blocks are gone…

Not gone - you can still get them with world edit, they are just a different number… :wink:

Well what I meant was I took all the circular cut stone and mechanisms out of it.
If anyone want’s to move it with snowpine, go head.

Thanks for pitching in guys! Yeah, only staff can go the old map. I’m sorry charks xD I went to snowpine all the time too, ocram. It was a great town. :slight_smile: I can’t wait till it can be transferred over to the new map

Knowing andy and spec we will probably end up (unfortunately) ditching snowpine v2.0 and move on to snowpine v 3.0.

They do this a lot. Bigcity is currently in its 6th version I believe. In no way a bad thing, things improve with each new version.

_andy if that is the case can we PLEASE transfer that place? we worked SO hard on that town, it would be a shame for it to go to waste. not to mention, ive been wanting to do some interior decorating in the Inn, but i dont wanna if its going to be torn down.

Maybe set it, (as i already said)

For the spawn for a new map, and i get the decorating done now, and that way we will have a “ready made” spawn point

Bump? I really can’t move the place alone. It is a lot of work and I would prefer to have Spec help as the server may crash while pasting. Heck, he may know how big of a copy paste the server can handle.

Note: I made a mistake once that altered a huge area but a simple undo fixed it. I know it can handle pretty crazy sizes.

PAste in segments, remember to do //copy on corners and at sea level, and you’re good to go :slight_smile:

I only crashed the server once! Did the main city in 2 huge chunks, and then did the landscape after. The mountain was a killer, it took 5 minutes to paste in after I typed in the command.
