Possible promotion abuse?

I received a report that gamergirl11 may have promoted an individual from guest to adv within a day. I will sum up my findings here.

(15:55:48) gamergirl11 used /promote losadewt
Note: this is from initiate to builder

(16:16:21) gamergirl11 used /promote losadewt
Note: this is from builder to adv… It seems losa asked for the rank to use /gun. Lets hope she remembered to demote him back. I don’t see it. I think she just forgot to do so.

I don’t mind temporary promotions, but only if you don’t forget to demote them. This is likely the person I received the report about. All other promotions seemed normal.

so the question is will this be overlooked as a tempoary grievance, or handled more severly?

I fixed the rank for that player. We still need to give a verbal reprimand to gamergirl. I don’t think we need to punish, as there was no rule against it. As I said, I don’t mind temp promotions, but we should not do them at all.

As long as we learn from this mistake, we improve the staff overall.

this is good, i belive temparoary promotions are ok, aslong as nothing happens like brandonquinn11, if someone witha temparoary promo is abusing it, then it should be fixed imedatley. :slight_smile:
