I was looking around my town and I was thinking, wouldn’t it be nice if we could move to other towns by car, train, or boat? I think that if we can find a plugin that has any of these things, it would encourage communication/travel between towns. It would also encourage people to build train tracks, docks, or parking places. It would also be cool to see a train going by your town, and be able to go with it, and then be in another town. If you have any feedback, positive or negative, please feel free to add.
I like the idea a lot, but I think your suggestion would be a lot more successful if you did some more research and came up with links to plugins, or another proposal.
Now, i do not speak for the staff team, just stating my opinion.
We try and keep PCB as vanilla as possible, this means no big additions from mods/plugins. I think that adding something like this would take that vanilla-ness away from PCB, as it would be quite a big change. Minecraft already has boats, docks and boat travel between towns are possible now, people just dont do it. You can still build train connections and roads between towns anyway (as long as the distance is not too big, they take up space), I don’t see the need for actual working vehicles, flying is faster anyway. I do see the appeal of working vehicles, but i think it would feel more like a modded server, rather than vanilla.
It sounds like a great idea, and I’d love to see something like this on the server, but I think it would probably cause a lot of lag, especially if people leave the vehicles around or running.
There are some plugins that really enhance the “PCB experience”, I suppose, but moving trains/cars just doesn’t feel like one of those plugins. It’s a no from me.
A plugin that has movable cars, trains, and boats would be nice, but PCB is meant to be as vanilla as possible. I think this plugin would be better for another server. Plus, there might be excessive lag for the moving of gigantic builds (For example, if the USS Enterprise was movable, there would be a lot of lag)
The idea is interesting, but people wouldn’t bother building cars/boats/trains no more because they would substitute it with these plugins… This is my opinion.

Ill start by saying that im 90% sure all of those plugins are out of date… dunno about ucars (if you want to find a plugin to suggest, make sure it’s up to date ( spigot 1.11.2))
As for transport in general, plugins that would perform this function would have a bunch of limitations. For example the traincarts plugin wouldnt be useful for realistic trains because they use minecarts. The cars/boats etc etc usually are a one size fits all, only the size doesn’t fit all the styles, eras, scales and sizes on PCB.
In addition these sound EXTREMELY gimmicky, I reckon they’d be used for like a week and then die out. I also dont see the point in this plugin for creative, survival maybe, but creative… what’s the point when you have warps, tp and fly.
