I just wanted to show you all my current project I am working on, a Documentary Series that I am putting into a powerpoint. The topic I originally chose was to take photos of a city in southern New Mexico (Las Cruces).
Here is the Link to my project, although it isn’t complete just yet (skip the artist statement), this is what I have so far.
Any suggestions on what I should add or remove? (again skip the artist statement slide D: its horrible and I wrote that part in like 5 mins). Any feedback is welcome, I am a starting photographer using a Nikon D3300 DSLR, and this is one of my “Documentary Projects” that I have been working on this month. Each photo is Photoshopped with CS6. I just posted my powerpoint of what I had so far for any suggestions/feedback. (Project due next Monday, Kill me.).
Well like I said I wasn’t finished (captions etc) … I clearly stated to skip the artist statement (aka, second slide) because I might redo it / delete that slide
Besides the captions, the groups of photos are separated by categories as stated by slides separating the parts.
I like it! But again, it’s very grey. Might make the whole presentation better if you added a couple of colour ones. Also take out that one with your feet in. This isn’t instagram.
What could look cool is a pair of battered shoes placed strategically in the foreground. Maybe focus on them to make the background slightly blurry? Just an idea.
Nice work Javi! I was tryna find a camera and that Nikon one seemed nice but too expensive for me XD. I may end up getting this camera unless u guys have any better suggestions for the price range:
