PCB Forum Debating Threads --> Important Rules and Dates.

[size=14pt]Welcome to the official PCB Forum Debate Info Thread.

Those who are interested in debating on our server within a structured and formal setting should take the time to read the information within this thread.

What is debating?

  • A formal discussion on a particular matter in a public meeting or legislative assembly, in which opposing arguments are put forward and which usually ends with a vote.

The way we will handle debating will work similar to this definition, only we will not be holding a vote, as it is best to assume there is no winner for any debate or argument.

What topics will we debate?

Topics to debate are going to be picked at random and will address social, political, moral and humanitarian issues that are present within our society.

Each topic will be up for debate for a month, after which time, a new topic will be chosen and a new debate thread made. After a debate thread has ended, discussion will not continue regarding that topic unless it is opened as a topic a second time (though this is highly unlikely).

Debate topics will change and a new thread will be made on the 1st of each month.
The first topic will be released on Feb. 1st.
