Olympic Closing Ceremony

The Ceremony is currently going on. I am generally impressed with the John Lennon/Beatles mix.
And the guitarist from queen was amazing. But Jessie J just fucked up the song badly. The Popular culture artists that pulled of a Bee gees song and the spice girls where also good. Anyone else have anything to put about this?

Jessie J did AWFUL. Now I thought Eric Idle was hilarious. So was Imagine. Now Rio’s opening ceremony is gonna be boss. It WILL be the best one ever. Just think of all the colors and crazy shit that’s going to go on in that one!

ERIC IDOL Was just boss! Fucking, I didn’t think they could do it. Life’s a bowl of shit, when you look at it. I have to say though, The Who’s closing was just amazing. Despite their age, they still got it man!

I only saw the very end of it, but from what my family tells me, it was a lot better than the opening ceremony.

My sister said Jessie J did a good job but she’s a big fan so I take your opinion over hers.

After tr Olympics, it makes me pretty proud to be British xD I didn’t think Jessie j was bad, she has a good voice, but it didn’t really for with we will rock you. And I need to put some more classic rock on my iPod. Britain has great music fair doos. :smiley: apart from one direction were there. They can go die.

Rio’s ceremony should be good, and colourful. And bloody loud. The best thing about the London opening and closing has definitely been the music (most of the music anyway).

And to anyone who hasn’t seen any Monty Python stuff, but maybe saw “Always look on the briiiiiiiight siiiiiide of loife”, I would recommend googling the pythons xD

I only the saw the closing ceremony. I did not stay up to watch the closing to the closing ceremony as the NBC commentators put it. It was horrible how NBC did the coverage. They even told who would win sometimes right before they showed the “live” (recorded) footage. But I have to say, the closing ceremony is one to remember.

“Come with me and will see…I AM THE EGGMAN!!!” Still cracks me up how they did the transitions.
