Hi everyone! You all (or most of you probably) know me very well as AngelsofDragons - possibly the first to don the “Herro there” greeting.
Well, anyways, I was trying to play earlier today and found that I could not log into Minecraft. I’ve checked and double checked my username, email, and password, and they were all correct. I tried the password reset function via email (multiple times), but the email never came, and I’ve also looked into the security questions and all that stuff. I’ve even contacted Mojang’s customer support, and they said there wasn’t anything they could do about it.
Fortunately, I happen to possess more than one account (one that I usually share with some other people and have considered making Let’s Play videos out of). So, I’ll be playing under the username orangebananapeel from this point onwards.
Liam was nice enough to offer me a rather short-lived nickname “~Angels”, but people asked about my name change anyways, so out went the nickname anyways. Well, hopefully when/if I get Trusted, I shall get that nickname back. No hard feelings.
So yeah. Just a heads-up not to be too surprised when you see orangebananapeel claiming to be me. Hope to see all you guys around the server sometime.
Yes I know you angels you have been with us for quit a while now. I am sorry that this is happening to you. I hope things resolve them self. If not I will look out for orangebananapeel. Be sure to change all your signs btw if you change accounts.

I’ve already done that once. I really have no intention of buying another account when this random crap could happen again, it’s like throwing away money . That’s one factor. Secondly, even if I had all the money in the world, would it not be difficult to explain username changes every so often?
Well, yeah, I guess you’re right. I’m surprised Mojang Support hasn’t actually solved your problem, I’m sure you’ve already explained the whole situation to them, but, according to my experience, video game’s developers seem to be pretty understanding about these issues. I’ve already been through some really screwed up problems about accounts and hackings and stuff (not on Minecraft, on other games) and they’ve always solved my issues pretty well. I think you should try to insist on demanding the problem to be fixed, because you’ve paid for the game, and now you can’t enjoy it. Seems really unfair. :-\
If you can’t get a hold of them, using twitter usually works with businesses. If you’re making a public complaint, they respond almost instantly to make themselves look good.
I hope it was just those two accounts, anyways. Thanks for the support though. I might consider buying another account sometime to give it one last shot, and hopefully it won’t break again. Might be gone for awhile, I suppose, but I hope to be back.
I have contacted their support regarding both accounts that have been lost - they say that it was a problem on their end, but that they can’t do anything about it. Still searching for my proof of purchases (those two accounts were quite old).
