Niko and Robin banned from teamspeak....

I am placing this here because I want to know the truth of what happened. I feel like it was just a bad joke and was punished a little severely. From what I have gathered so far people say that niko and robin dropped in a staff conversation on a different channel than staff under different usernames than their own. The joke was to see how long it would take the discussing staff members to notice that they weren’t the staff members their name suggested. People who normally use our teamspeak server have migrated to a different one just to talk to these guys. The are nice people and everybody makes mistakes. I believe that if both sides admit that they were both in the wrong and forget about it this would solve the problem and everybody saves face. I also know about the ban appeal that was suggested but that seems a little unilateral.

So far, the staff decided that Niko would receive a temp ban of just 4 days. He should have only a day or two left. However, they wanted Robin_hoodlum to write and appeal. For the time being, he will be banned until he does so.

It says in the ToS you will be denied access to all services if you impersonate a staff member. They impersonated a staff member. End of story. Move on. Get over it.

Niko is to be unbanned today. Robin is not as he has not tried to appeal at all.
