New Survival PVP Server Has Just Opened!

Guys! Its finally here, the new Survival PVP has just opened!

The IP address is 198.23.241.131 (replacing the FTB server)

Come and join a clan or make your own, raid other players’ bases and build your own impregnable fort, the sky is the limit! People who start now will get a head start when this server becomes big!

The server is still in a testing phase, so it still needs a lot of work but suggestions are really welcomed!

This thread will serve as a suggestion thread and information thread. If you have any questions, we will answer them!

I have a question. Why would we get rid of the FTB server? We could get rid of Classic because people rarely play on it. I know a few active people on FTB. We would have the same number of servers, with more active people on each. Just an idea.

Ranks work like this:

Admin, Mod, Donator, Member and Noob (Guest).

There are no SOP, OP and trusted ranks. SOP will be admins and OP wil be mods.

Classic is only down because NOBODY has asked me to start it back up. It has not been up for a month or more.

Istarted on today and I’m lovin it! Great job guibo for getting this pushed to the admins!

Great first day on the PVP map!

We’ve seen a bit of fighting but not a lot! Much of the day has been spend building bases! Who knows what adventures tomorrow will bring!

The three biggest clans include:

  • The Fanditos Banditos
  • Novium
  • Canada

with 4 members each!

Sip has worked all day working on the plugins (thanks so much for doing this!), and things are getting smoother and smoother! We’ve also had around 10 players on average during the day (pretty good numbers if you tell me!)

The new PVP server is rad as heck! I definitely say it is a good thing that it was added :slight_smile:

We need to set out the rules, if a command is for staff, it means it cannot be used under normal circumstances:

Example:

  • compass
  • fly
  • tp

We’re supposed to be all equal on this server and my base got raided yesterday, and I’m pretty sure its because you guys compassed me…

I remember back like last year or in 2011, PCB’s classic server was normally always full…

I love the server, the only problem is getting people to join clans. There isn’t really anywhere to have an explanation of certain clans, almost like an embassy at spawn or something. Also, no rules. It’s a great start though, it’s obvious it’s going to be brilliant when it starts to take off even more.

The server seems pretty cool, but I’m not too big on PvP. :stuck_out_tongue:
(I mainly just made this post to get to 200 posts. :P)

Is it just me or does the description that guibo gave to us on the new PVP server sound very much like clash of clans?
