I, Zacwow21, would like some new mods added to the PCB server.

Me and a lot of my friends think we should add just a couple mods to the server just so that it’s a little bit easier to explore and find new land to build so we don’t have to keep making floating, flat grass patches to build on and then having to terraform all the way to the ground and making it look natural.

I would like to start off with the ‘Vehicles’ mod and the ‘Plots’ mod. The vehicles in a city will help for roleplay, exploring or even just fun. Then the plots will let you build in plots like Test City, but in the Creative Warp. I would attach 2 links for some staff to either download for themselves or the owner can download these mods into this delightful server, although the new Vehicles mod hasn’t released an update for 1.11.2, so we can’t yet get it onto the server and I can’t put the Plots mod into the attachments as the file is to big.

Personally I believe:
The vehicle mod

  1. Would lag the server as they count as entities and that allows for more spamming of trolls.
  2. It also means people must download more things to join the server.
  3. Role playing is great, but as a majority, the server doesn’t enjoy it.
  4. We have an FTB/modded server, so it would be smarter for it.
    Plots
  5. Why would someone wanna use plots unless their doing something small or just for fun?
  6. And if they wanted to, they could just do it in the test warp.
  7. If we were a server that did minigames/factions/survival/prison/drug worlds, then a creative plotted world would make sense, but we specialize in creative freebuilding/towns.

Everything you just said is true, but it would be nice just to see that cherry on top of the ice cream, yo’u know?

no. plots are just plain nasty. pcb is not any other mainstream server. plots make worlds look unnatural and terrible with the 500x500 land space but 5x5 build in it. Plots are so bland and flat I can’t. Plots make the land flat and it has no natural terrain like mountains or rivers or oceans. If we implemented that people would be building boats on grass. Plots are Cancer to mineraft. They make cities undiscoverable as everything looks the same, everyone has one plot but only 10% will expand it. Plots are so bad pls don’t make such suggestions

Moving entities are bad forr the server period.

Here’s my opinion. Like Verna said, plots are nasty. PCB is supposed to be an open free roam server. Also, adding any mods other than plugins takes away the originality. Some people can’t use mods either so we might risk losing people on the server.
