New Members Access Code: Problem :(

I can’t help but notice that lately new people continue to come onto the server but have been halving trouble joining forums (to become member)! :o
This is what I’ve ben told of the situation…

  1. gets on server for first time
  2. we welcome him/her and tell to join the drums! :smiley:
  3. moments later tell us that when he/she was told to check her email for confirmation code, they never received the code
  4. they tired many times but with no success :frowning:

This has happened to the following members:
Chevalier
Polly (dfirby’s friend)
…707 (can remember name exactly)

So im not sure at all what this problem is, but just wanted these people to get help. Bcuz we all know its more fun being a member that a guest. ^^ I will post the name of that last person once i figure out wat the name is. :slight_smile:

Perhaps it’s going to their junk/spam folder?

I think it depends on their email provider.

Well I (or anybody) will have to ask them if they tried it or not.

Mail server as far as I know is running fine. I also looked for each of those 3 members in the list of accounts waiting to be activated (via email activation) and none of them are there. This means that either
a. they’re already activated
or
b. they didn’t register an account

Edit: I didn’t find them in the member list either so that means they haven’t registered an account

The 707 guy is my friend, his name is Scat_Man707. I know him IRL and told him to sign up, and thats why he had the difficulties. His in particular were that he wouldnt get an email for confirmation

ChevalierSaito was able to set up an account once, but it was not his right name. He set up one under Saito i believe. I know this because i know him IRL. I helped him set up a few accounts but they didn’t work, I think the reason the
other attempts failed was because he already used his e-mail once here.

Hi there my friend whiteunicorn99 has also been waiting for activation code for 2 days now. I have sent Andy a message about it - when whiteunicorn99 signs into the game site they come up as a member so we c what andy says

Edit: Haven spoken to sipjca since my last post, apparently there is a bug for this problem at moment.
We just have to be patient.

The problem is, we are telling them to join the DRUMS…lol

Are they using a period in their email? Ex example.email@whateveritis

I have manually activated whiteunicorn99’s account. Please PM me before Andy/special for issues such as these. Also, this was an old thread. Try not to necro threads like this.
