New Computer?

I’v been thinking a bit about getting a new computer (and I mean a desktop, not this craptop) and I was wondering if you could give me any suggestions?

I’m thinking about the £300-£600 mark ($500-$1000)
or less if possible but I know there isn’t anything decent for less than this. (This laptop was just over £300)

Please bear in mind I’v never built a computer before and don’t really intend to do so because it sounds difficult and knowing me I’d fuck up big-time. So pre-built.

Are either of these any good? Check around the rest of that site if you want. That would be useful because they have a shop quite close to me.

Ruby, neither of those choices seem all that great.

I went through the site zesty suggested and much of it seems good. I began to pick parts for you using their z68 configurer and stayed within budget, until I realized you likely need a monitor, and other extras like OS.

Basically, the system is obtainable at that price range. You can get a bad ass system for that price, but the extras will push you over. Especially with what they are calling VAT included. I assume it’s tax?

Perhaps Sip or Fili should take a look too. I wish I were near, I could build and customize it for you. The OS alone is an extra 70 or so.

I can help you with torrenting…

I would wait until NVIDIA begins to start selling their epic new card everywhere. Then really well built cards will drop because the new thing is a beast <3. Now only if I didn’t have a mac…
