I am very scared that I will lose my town that I have worked so hard on in the 1.9 map. Like will we keep our current map and just update it to 1.9? Or will we start all over again? I don’t really want to build another town yet since I just started my current one. Any ideas?
This has already been raised as a question. There is currently no plan to reset the creative map. Once all or plugins are tested and proven compatible, the map will be updated to 1.9.

And, Will, even if the map is reset sometime this year (not anywhere near now don’t worry), you’d still be able to continue your city on singleplayer as we offer all maps for download after they’re reset.
I believe that if anything were to change, it’d most likely only have the End reset, as nothing else has changed, save the introduction of a new crop.
