So my deathchest has decided to stop working. I’ve tried making another one, but it just acts as a regular chest with a regular sign above it. The main problem is when i die without the deathchest, it wipes my inventory, i would be fine if my inventory dropped when i die, but it all just disappears. I can’t actually enjoy survival until this problem is solved.
Just by that you quit survival and let others to take your survival stuff and abandone all your houses??

Generally removing and replacing the sign works. Just to be clear, you’re placing the sign IN the block above the chest, not ON the block above the chest.
I’ve tried doing both ways for him Octo and tested it thoroughly. It was not working even for myself.
