hey guys, lately i’ve been playing around with old versions of Minecraft in the launcher, but i can’t seem to find classic in there, and i really wanted to try the classic pcb server.
I eventually found the link to classic on minecraft.net HOWEVER… when i try to play it, it says application blocked due to security reasons… i then searched up a video on how to remove this, “block”. me and my pa tried adding ecceptins to the java security, it worked somewhat untill it cam up with an error screen and we got at a dead end.
i was wondering if any of you know how to get classic working, or a program that can downgrade to classic, cause i really want to try classic out.

First of all, I am in charge of our classic server. The server has been offline for months due to there being no interest people visiting. I can start it up again at any time, I just wanted to hear that someone wanted to go.
The best method to play classic is to get WOM, then XWOM. This is a client just like the normal client, but it enables flying and other hacks. These are allowed/expected in classic.
Shall I start er up?

rondambilly thats where ive been trying to play but the application is blocked by java for some reason…
kyle i’m having trouble finding out what WOM and XWOM is, can you help me out a lil bit on where it is and how to get it?
not really, it’s like installing a flymod pre-creative mode
okay i understand what they do, but can someone help me with downloading and installing? i can’t find the wom download anywhere, i did find xwom download however.
You have to sign up on the WOM forums to be able to download the client. I’m betting that’s what your missing.
