Minecraft is apparently updating stillā€¦ I opened minecraft and we are now on Beta 1.6.5 which means having just reinstalled mods, they donā€™t workā€¦ well it was nice for the day it lastedā€¦

Does anyone know if tall grass grows back? I havenā€™t had much of a chance to play SSP yet

tall grass doesnā€™t grow back. And we wonā€™t find any tall grass until we travel way away from spawn. You an spawn grass and shrubs, but when you place them they just turn into a dead sapling.

As of 1.6.6 you can use bonemeal on a grass block and tall grass should grow.

yes it does. Place bonemeal on grass. Butā€¦ I think that we might have to replace all the grass in the game with new grass in order for it to work

Yea thats what I mean I trieded it on single and it didnā€™t work on my island

It was working just fine around spawn. Andy and I placed a bunch of it. I had some odd errors where it was invisible to me every so often.

If we wish, I think we can use our admin powers to replace any grass with tall grass. This may need testing.
