Hi Guys!
I’m sure that many of you guys are aware of what MINECON is. Well, ticket sale dates and prices have been released! See for yourself:
https://mojang.com/2015/03/minecon-2015-tickets-announcement/
Too expensive for me to go unfortunately:-[
Getting to London is effort… Even though I’m there two weeks later.
Too bad the the tickets are also too expensive for me and London is quite far D:
But, WOOOOOOOO MINECON 2015!!!
I’ll go to something like this eventually. Preferably one closer to home. When will people realise London is not the only city in the UK?
PCBCon anyone?
Minecon 2016 in Florida please.

You get to walk around for a bit, have a diamond foam sword fight with a 10 year old, play minecraft on a cheap computer with 2gbs of ram, you MIGHT meet notch, just maybe like 1% chance aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand yeah
That’s it
£129 is pretty cheap for a games conference. They also have panels from important people like the developers and youtubers.
Eh, not worth it.
If I was gunna pay upwards of £100 to be surrounded by over-excited 10 year olds I’d go to disneyland…
Do you know why tickets sell out so quick? It’s cos all these 10 year olds that go take up 2 or 3 tickets each so their parent(s) can go with them…
If they limited it to 1 ticket per transaction, the rest of us would all stand a better chance of getting in.

Transatlantic plane tickets mate, thems aint free.
I agree with Brodur, travelling to Europe is expensive for people who live outside of it. (a.k.a United States, Australia, Taiwan, Japan and so forth)

They do try to alternate, 2013 was in Orlando, Florida.
It’s probably because every major airport on earth has flights to London, wheras other cities only do domestic and European flights.

Manchester airport is also pretty huge. Every holiday I have been on (11 states in the USA and multiple places across Europe) I’ve flown from either Manchester or Liverpool. I think I’ve been to a London airport once in my life.
But still, I get your point for other non US/European countries.

I’m most likely going Sardinia for holiday this year and the only airports I can go from are London Gatwick and Stansted
Woo go Manchester! I think we should hold PCBcon in Manchester, just because…
Well, Teamspeak makes it sorta like a PCBcon every day! Only with more singing…
