Because I never even griefed it, they were setting fire to it without meaning any harm of course but I was just putting it out since I didn’t realize what they were trying to do.

It was explained to you that you couldn’t grief the Ghetto, it had to be nice grief (if you get what I mean). You then went around fixing the wholes and putting out the fires, which is not the idea of the town, it is suppose to look run down and abandoned. I also believe you placed lava? Or that might have been someone else at the scene. I can understand why you did it of course, but you should have read the rules.
I think you may of got confused. The whole point of ghetto is to look griefed/run down. You were banned because we told you several times to stop and you did not.It does say clearly at the warp area of the town that is is meant to look ‘griefed’ .Now I look at it I think you were only trying to help fix it. For future reference please read town rules before building. Unbanned
