I play on the server quite frequently and once on a normal day, Fatso came on the server and said need to restart the server. so we all disconnected and then once i rejoined i thought “ooh its back up!” so i went to my creation and so suddenly it said Disconnected, lost connection to the server I’m not the only one experiencing this. heres someone else who has this too :

I’m not sure if u know him but he has the exact same problems as me. I know its not my internet connection because i do a skype call with my friend when i play with him and when i crash i say something like sh!t and then he asks me what it is and i tell him i crash… but he doesnt know what im talking about. he does not crash and he just continues playing.
When im in the lobby (where i always find secret rooms etc) I often check if im not lagging by hitting the floor and usually says : Cannot build here. this zone belongs to operator. But sometimes it just break without rebuilding itself. Thats when the bad stuff comes in. I break a few other blocks, which do not rebuild either DISCONNECTED.
I also check by the chat by typing something, if it comes up immediately then its fine. If it takes 10 secs than i have 50% of crashing. Which usually does crash.
OR i check if people are moving.

Unfortunately, i don’t think theres a way to fix this, it happens to everyone.
Sometimes, everyone can be disconnected because of fatso’s internet connection failing,
but individual people can have connection problems, it happens to me often, but usually if i leave it for a few minutes it isn’t as bad, it can happen if there are a lot of people on the server at the same time, or if someone is using TNT/flooding water/flooding lava etc. I think it is connected to the amount of lag you are having.
So, don’t worry about it, if you find you’re being disconnected frequently, just try again later, or the next day
lmao!! when the server is running i stop all bittorents and most site browsing to make sure it dosnt lag anymore then it has to, but my connection is weak and im sorry about that, but i seem to be the only one willing and able to attempt to host this server, unless someone else wants to take over then the lag will stay put =/
‘Dude’, my connection is awful, i cant do anything about it, i know that its a great server for the idea behind it and how it is run (thanks to Andy) but i really cant do anything about my connection, whilst the server is running i turn anything and everything that uses the broadband off apart from mcforge, if you have a suggestion for a free easy way to get rid of lag then please, tell me, if not, please stop complaining, im doing everything i can. IT could be worse, i could just forget about bothering to host it and let PCB creative just die, but i refuse to.
If you were willing to pay fatso,you could get somewhere else to host it and have a 99.9% uptime guarantee, from what i heard it costs around ?8 per month which, if you split it between you and another, is only ?4 a month for 2 people to pay to remove most of the lag on the server…
who else uses ur router fatso?
i bet MY bro downloads movies all day -.-
well lemme say this: there are 5 ppl in my fam. they all are connected to the same router. it MIGHT be worse when i am dealing with it…
