Ok, so i thought it would be really hard to get a good video of my maze with just one view point. I was hoping that maybe some of you guys could help me with this. Here are some things i think will be helpful.
1st a screen recording device so you could send me the video later, and i could edit them together to put on my youtube channel.
2nd a form of communication, i would like to have some sort of voice and appearance in my own maze video. Maybe Skype or Steam, as long as i can get a good recording and put these videos together with some audio.
3rd a good since of humor, and able to keep the audience kinda entertained.
I hope i can get a few people to help me with this, i probably need about 4 or more, i am happy to get what ever help i can get.
This will only go into effect if we can get the maze moved over to survival however.
One more thing, i would like to get the schematics so i can put them on a world, and maybe get the yogscast to take a look. That might be a longshot, but still that sounds like fun.
I’ve got fraps (purchased) But the problem would be sending it to you, they files tend to get pretty big.
I have a microphone, steam, and skype. (pretty clueless as to use most functions though)
And I THINK I have a good sense of humor. Or I am really sarcastic.
You both sound like great candidates, I hope that i can get both of yall’s videos so i can put them together. I am going to need to add both of you to my steam or Skype, depends what the majority wants to use. As long as i can get all of my participators to comunicate in the video, and be on the same team in the maze. Don’t forget, no matter what there can only be one winner of the maze.
There’s a pretty good way to get around that. You can make one giant 30 minute (or whatever) video of all your footage, unedited (even in HD) and it will be maximum 1 GB. You can send that to Myth via Dropbox, filetube, or any file-sharing service and he will cut out the parts he needs for his video.
I could also help. I didn’t read through the whole thread since I’ve been gone, and I’m about to be going to the Emergency Room for one of my knees -_- Dropbox would be tough since it is that large of a file, there would be enough room to put it there, but it would take quite a while to upload. I would compress it first, if you dont mind the quality being slightly less, or even record half-size and then upscale later, like I did with my Redstone Calc.
Hope it goes well in the ER. I’m ok with having some less quality videos in my video thing, so long as i can get you all to comunicate in this video. Also it will probably be a good while before i can get this totally done, and moved to survival. Then we are probably gona wait a while so that everybody will have a good chance to know where and when the maze game will be up.
It doesn’t really matter what you record it with, as long as i can see the video. I can always just re record it with some of my screen recording devices.
I think there was someone else who was going to make another edit video of all of these videos, you know, with a good editing software.
I was just going to do my best with my iMovie on my mac. It can edit clips together pretty well, i just will take a little time to get it looking good.
I would love to see your version of the maze video, we can compare videos, i might like to put both of them on my youtube channel, if that’s ok with you. I would have a link to your youtube channel.
