Well i start my new job tomorrow. I wont be working 8 hour days though, most likely 4 hour days. Since it is only really a design type job that i am getting into. I also want to at least finish my rough draft of a book i am working on. I would love for nothing else to at least get that done. Then i could say my summer wasn’t just me sitting at home playing minecraft. XD Not to say i don’t love it, it’s just the fact that it would be the only thing that i did. So i may not be on very often when we go public, i applogize for that. I really need to get to work on some things. Like my permit, i shoulda gotten that done over a year ago, but now is a pretty good time i guess. XD I have a new job. ;D I am trying to get a rough draft of my book done. So about 3 things that come to mind that would keep me away from the server. Good luck to you all. ;D
Edit:
Even though my ipod doesn’t take the best pics, i will try to get some stuff uploaded on how i am doing in my new projects. Mostly the book. When i finish a rough of the characters i will upload it some time.
Sounds good Good luck with stuff then, and definitely post the book online when you’re done, I would be interested to read it, and I’m sure others would too. What’s it about briefly?
Well it’s kinda going off of that maze movie we where doing. XD Since it was proving to be a little dificuilt to get people involved in something like that, i decided that maybe it would be a good idea to turn that into a manga type book. It will prob have some new things going on in it though. Most likely if i get involved enough in it and i feel like the book could handle a few hundred more pages, then i could add the adventure inside the maze. ;D
I will do my best to stay active on the forums, since when i do get bored and unispired i tend to take a look at what’s been going on in pcb. I could never truly leave this place. I hope the public launch goes well. Maybe i will see you all soon. ;D
Well i managed to get lucky enough to get a job that would put my graphic design to the test. I also managed to get it to work around my late sleeping habbits. XD Since i tend to wake up around 12 since it’s summer now. I will be working from 12:00-4:00. So i am kinda lucky to for the most part even have the job, and the fact that it works around my schedule is even better.
The book is gona kinda work around a mystery feeling sorta. Since in the moview script that got fixed up, it kinda worked an angle of mystery into it. It also has some of where the kids are searching for their father and all. So i guess i could work in an angle of adventure as well. ;D I would love to get this thing done. I would deff freak out if i managed to find a comany willing to publish it. I deff would have to find a small company so they would maybe even just take a look at my book. Then i could work off of it from there. Of course you all will have the best glimpse of the book before any comany gets to even hear of it. I hope that if i do finish it, you could all give me some thoughts on what you think of the artwork and other stuff i may be bringing into the book. ;D
Edit:
Now that i think about it, this would prob go under a more adventure type kind of book. XD The only mystery is what happened to their dad and maybe if i do what i was thinking of doing, then there would be a massive mystery atthe end. However i am not quite sure if that kind of ending would be good for a first time beginner book for me to try and get out to the public.
May I ask what job? You don’t have to name company names of course, that would be advertising, but job title and a description if it’s obscure would be interesting to know xD
Well what i was told is that the job will be something centered around my graphic design stuff. Mostly what i understood was that i am going to be working on an art program for 4 hours a day, getting an hourly wage (most likely i will work a little to fast to get my money’s worth) and then they will put my designs on some of the stuff they are making. So far i have already done some work for them before, but it was stuff that when i finished i got a certain amount of money, instead of an hourly wage. I have worked with a 3D program, and have done 2D quick sketch on paper and copy to a digital program. Now i am prob gona be spending a lot of time figuring out this new art program and then doing some new 2D stuff.
