Itās hard to describe the role of the server in my life because its been there for me for so long. Had a bad day? Nothing like terrible banter and rythmic block placing to fix it. Had a good day? Letās share my happiness with everyone. Iāve pretty much grown up with this server. It seem so many different sides of me and helped me through the good and bad times that I donāt know who I would be without this.

I was nine when I started playing on PCB, so itās been around about 40% of my life and most of my life that I can remember. There was a lot going on in my life when I joined PCB so itās always been a good āescape,ā if you will. I love the server, the community, and everything else about PCB and itās hard to think of life without it. Itās one of the few things Iāve really been able to commit to long-term. Iāve made great friends and great memories here.

For someone like me with no computer skills, my role is quite easy and the load is shared quite well between the team. Sometimes I question whether I am here for banter and communicating. Iāve never found a hard choice, most the time its just choosing the most logical outcome for the server not the outcome you want.

This server is actually super chill. We do have discussions and make decisions often but compared to other things Iāve done itās much less intensive. I was a Trainee on Mineplex and got demoted after my two-month trial because it was waaay too much to keep up with compared to what I was used to with PCB. I donāt think Iāve ever been a part of a really tough decision.

College create a lot of really funny moments. For the unaware, I live in a residential college with 230 other people with a bunch of weird College traditions. There is this song called ice cream by muscles and whenever itās played you have to take your shirt off (if you listen to it youāll understand why). On to the story now. Every year the collegeās compete in Rowing afterwards we go on a party bus and got to a bunch of venues and just end up really drunk. If youāve ever been on a party bus youāll know you get to pick your own music, blast it out loud and dance to it in a moving bus. Doesnāt always end well to be honest. You also get covered in goon when you miss your mouth with the goon bag. Anyway, between venues we make a stop at the beach and just before we get there we play icecream. We get to the beach and they wonāt let us off the bus until everyone has the shirts back on. When they finally let us off the bus I go to run at the beach get like five steps and face plant the ground. Luckily it was grass.

Funny and angering. I got blocked by Drake Bell (of Drake and Josh) on Instagram.
I entered a giveaway hosted by TRL for a signed Drake Bell vinyl, mostly for the meme. Drake Bell is āreveredā among my friends. I wrote a long-ass comment about how Iād been deprived of a free Drake Bell concert (another story) and how important he was to me as an artist and a role model. A bunch of bullshit, but I know how to write and make it convincing. I asked on my Insta story for everyone to go like the comment and got a few people from PCB (shoutout to Joe, Fili, and John the Admin). It was late, so I went to bed, and when I woke up the next morning, I had a DM from Drake Bell himself congratulating me on my win. I asked if he was for real, he confirmed and asked for my address to mail the vinyl. Sent it to him and that was that. A couple weeks past and I got nothing. Didnāt think too much of it until about a month had passed and still no vinyl. I DMed a random guy that worked for Drake whoād also DMed my following the giveaway and asked him what was up. He said heād talk to Drake. Great. Two more months passed and I got nothing and grew too tired to try and ask again. Five months since the giveaway, my friends are talking about Drake Bell once again because heād made some stupid joke about Lil Tay in it or something. I tried to go see for myself and was quite confused when nothing was coming up. Asked my friends what the hell was going on and deduced that Drake Bell had blocked me. Out of the thousand-or-so people he follows, he took the time to block me, a random ass teenager from who-cares-where, instead of just unfollow or ignore me. Even after Iād made the effort to write something so wonderful about him and win the giveaway (out of a few thousand entrants, mind you). Now, I have no way of contacting Drake Bell and little hope for getting my signed vinyl (which I won fair and square).
