Making Middle Earth

Hello I have been working on the idea of a project of building The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings world entirely in minecraft if you are wanting to participate find us in the first area (Hobbiton)

Jobs;

Planer
editor
builder

that’s 'bout it see you

Forgot the cords for hobbiton here they are;X=626 Z=1243 that should do it

Just so you know, depending on the scale, this will not fit on all the maps in our server put together. It won’t even fit if you double that area.

There is a server already which has recreated most of it - it can take literally hours to get to places.
I believe in total their whole team have put over 10,000 hours into it.

If you really want to do this, I would suggest scaling down A LOT and either doing this on singleplayer or on another server, there simply isn’t room here for it to be possible. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Oh, and if you still want to do this, good luck, you’ll need it.

Minecraft - Outside the Blocks Episode 6: One Build to Rule Them All
The Two Towers (and 10 thousand hours): A Minecraft Middle Earth Special

Well there goes that idea…

The project isnt very large scale so I think he’ll be fine.

^Nuff said.

Surprised people actualy doubt me.

They don’t doubt you - they just warn you about the size and time needed for such a project, both of which PCB cannot fully give to you.

God I love those videos. Moonsugar? Milk? Ha! The pipes and doors are very cool. They develop their own scrips? amazing.

I think that its a great idea, but I agree with the staff. Middle Earth would be a huge project and would go on for quite a while, but I think its a great thing to come to mind.

Well i’ve come to a end with this and decided on makeing only Hobbiton area is open and public.

It is good to start small even if you want to expand later on. Let’s see how Hobbiton turns out and then we can plan for more. I would help you get more space if it turns out well.
